Prepare, Package & Post

Prepare
Please make sure all of your items are numbered in the order you want them transferred. Fill in our order form and list any special instructions, including how many copies and the format you require. PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR CONTACT DETAILS. (See Posting Below)

Packaging
Pack your items and images carefully using suitable materials. Bubble wrap envelopes are a very good product, and of course, bubble wrap itself is invaluable! Polystyrene or water soluble packing chips are excellent, and the old standby - newspaper, is OK too. Cheap and easily available, shredded newspaper is a bargain! Once the items are protected, seal the package well with brown parcel tape - not ordinary tape (it doesn't have to look pretty)!

Packaging - LP's
The golden rule is 'Do not skimp on packaging just to save postage costs'. Use your common sense and package your recordings to survive the journey.

We supply customised packaging materials that are purpose-made for transporting delicate LP's & 78's. We can also provide a courier service to get them safely from your door to ours! We receive hundreds of records per year without incident. You can be confident that your items are as safe as we can possibly make them.

We cannot accept any responsibility for items we receive damaged or lost through inadequate packaging or labelling. PLEASE make sure that you put your return address on the outside of the package and your contact details (telephone & email) and any instructions and order forms inside the package BEFORE posting.

Posting
Small packages (under 2kg) can be sent most economically by Special Delivery through your local Post Office. For heavier items (over 2kg) such as large reels of 16mm Cine film, it may be more cost effective to use Parcel2go.com who will pick-up and deliver your parcel door-to-door! Return Postage & Costs
All original materials are returned along with your production via Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery or by our Door-to-door Courier. Both of these services offer tracking & basic compensation as standard (click on above links for full details).
Packing Cost £2.50 - Next Day Special Delivery postage costs are at current postal rates (click on above links for current details)

Safe 'n' Sound
If preferred, we can arrange to send your original materials on to you after you have confirmed delivery of the production items. This method ensures that at least one copy of your film or video is 'Safe n Sound' at any one time.

You may also make your own arrangements for pick-up and delivery. If you require additional insurance or require other special delivery options for your returned goods, please let us know prior to despatch as we cannot accept any claims for lost or damaged goods in transit. Turnaround
Because of the individual nature of our work every order we receive requires careful preparation and time to produce. We will not sacrifice quality in favour of quantity! So, please allow at least 10 to 15 working days for processing and turn-around. If you need it sooner, we may be able to help - see 'Fast-Track' option below....

Fast-Track Service
Our 'Fast-Track Service' option includes processing and despatch within 3 to 5 working days (depending on the size of the order). This service is subject to an additional 20% surcharge on processing costs and is only available if current work loads and staffing permit. This service must be requested and confirmed by phone/email prior to sending your order. If this service is available, you will be given a 'Fast-Track' number to include with your order.
